Verifone has informed Chase that a defect is occurring on some Verifone terminals which can result in a reboot loop following initial boot up or reboot of the device. This prevents the terminal from being able to process transactions.
Verifone is recommending that clients avoid rebooting, restarting or power-cycling their VX series Verifone devices, including VX520, VX680, and VX820 terminals to prevent this issue from occurring.
